Follow these steps to ease the task of writing Wedding Thank You notes:
• Purchase your Wedding Thank You notes at the same time as your invitations. Order extra notes you can use after the wedding.
• Personalize the wedding thank you note by mentioning the gift and how you plan to use it (or spend the money).
• Try to make at least one personal reference in your Wedding Thank You note. Reference both you and your fiancé/husband, and if possible, split the job of writing the wedding thank you notes between the two of you.
• Write them as you receive your gifts to reduce the list waiting for you upon returning from your honeymoon.
• For gifts received before the wedding, send Wedding Thank You notes within two weeks of their arrival.
• For gifts received on or after the wedding day, send Thank You notes within one month of your return from your honeymoon.
